When I met the Lord, part 1   3 comments

The first time I let the Lord into my life, I was a little worried about what would happen to me. I was afriad that, I don’t know, someone was going to take Him out. Although if I knew Him, why was I so worried? Well, that’s my question. Maybe you have the same question as me. And at that point, I did not know what to do.

My parents said that there are so many people out there that don’t know Christ. And I thought everyone was a Christian. But turns out I’m wrong. They also said there are amazing things that He can do. And He will work through your life.

I did not feel anything happen, so I got pretty mad in that by itself. But then I figured out that I need to put it in faith that everything’s fine. So I tried so hard, but I could not feel anything happen. Maybe I did it wrong.

Maybe I need to do some more research. Is He really real, or are my parents making this up? I found out He is real. In fact He came down to Earth, and that’s more than anything. That’s the proof of an angel.

To be continued…

I really liked this post about you asking the Lord into your life. It is sort of hard to figure out what that means or how you should feel . . . you really hit the nail on the head though when you said you have to add FAITH to it. The BIBLE says we are saved by FAITH. Also, as we pray and ask the Lord to reveal himself to us, HE will do that! That is really GOOD NEWS! We will start to see HIM working in our lives in ways that are truly AMAZING!! He WILL reveal himself to you!

TODAY is your 9th Birthday! Happy Birthday to you!! Have a wonderful day!!! I am excited to see you soon when I come to Seattle to visit. Love Auntie Joni
